Text Messaging

Text messaging is something most people do these days, it is a good way of getting a message quickly to someone and a great way to remind someone to do something.

Because of this the Surgery does offer a text messaging smobilephoneervice, it is used to confirm appointment bookings, send appointment reminders (with the option to cancel via a simple text back) it is also used to invite patients in for reviews, contact patients when we have to change appointments and letting patients know about changes that might affect them, along with health campaigns which we feel are useful and informative.

There will be no sensitive information in the the texts and the system the practice will be using is very secure.

You may have noticed that when you ring the surgery to book an appointment you may have been asked to confirm your telephone numbers along with your address details.

Patients are asked to assist the practice in keeping reliable records by getting in touch with us to update their contact details as soon as any changes happen.

It is in the best interests of patients to ensure that any information sent to them is kept securely.

Please contact the surgery if you would like any more information.
